Dahlia Homes Care Service

Dahlia Homes Ltd was set up to care and support those aged 18 to 65 years of age who have their needs of accommodation. We provide a person-centred service with an emphasis on enabling service users who have been diagnosed with special needs such as people with Autism (including low functioning, high needs), severe and moderate learning disabilities and mental health, cognitive impairment with challenging behaviour. Our primary goal is to meet the needs of those who have been diagnosed with mental health disorders such as Depression, Bipolar, Unstable Borderline Personality Disorders and Schizophrenia. Service users may have learning disabilities such as Asperger’s Syndrome, Autism, Down’s Syndrome or other non-specified, learning difficulties. We want each person to experience the best quality of life they can have in the care setting.

We Aim To Provide

Our homes are run and managed by a staff team with over 20 years’ experience within the health and social care sector. The aims of the directors of Dahlia Homes in establishing this service is to contribute to the health, happiness and wellbeing of those with learning disabilities and mental health issues by treating them with respect and dignity with highly trained staffs who are active listeners and great communicators. The vision of Dahlia Homes is to treat others the way we would like ourselves or family members with the same issues be treated with dignity and respect. The support model employed by Dahlia Homes is one that promotes good practice and respect for diversity in lifestyle, religion and culture in the care and support of its client group into greater independence.

Those who stay with us are helped to develop their social skills through the group living experience as well as involvement in community activities whilst encouraging them to feel part of the group and able to own and build on their experiences.
